Leading developers and key stakeholders show interest in Kamarajar Port’s proposed second container terminal.

Following the issuance of the Expression of Interest (EoI) earlier this month for the development of the proposed Second Container Terminal, Kamarajar Port Limited (KPL) successfully conducted the Pre-Application Conference on December 22, 2025.

It witnessed strong participation from leading developers and key stakeholders representing major ports across the country. The interactive session enabled meaningful exchange of insights, addressed stakeholder queries and highlighted the strategic potential of the project in enhancing capacity, efficiency and connectivity.
