      CMA CGM announces enhancement to MEDEX service aimed at improving service frequency and capacity

      CMA CGM has informed of a significant enhancement to its MEDEX service effective Q1 2026, aimed at improving service frequency and capacity.

      As part of this enhancement, the overall rotation duration will be reduced from 70 days to 63 days (reduction of 7 days).

      This optimisation will enable more frequent sailings and enhanced capacity through additional departures, thereby offering greater flexibility and improved connectivity, highlighted a communique.

      The revised rotation (effective Q1 2026) is: Abu Dhabi – Jebel Ali – Mundra (CT4) – Nhava Sheva (NSFT) – Colombo – Jeddah– Port Said– Piraeus– Malta – Genoa – Beirut – Port Said – Jeddah– Abu Dhabi Fos Sur Mer, Barcelona and Valencia will be offered via transhipment. Further details will be shared separately, the communique said.

      The first vessel under the enhanced service will be CMA CGM PELLEAS voy. 0MXE5W1MA, Mundra, January 7, 2026.
